# 27 Liver Support

The liver is under fire a lot in today’s world with the mass amounts of chemicals which are used in every aspect of a horse’s environment, from chemical wormers to herbicides and insecticides used in the growing of the feed for them. One of the natural functions of the liver is to filter these “toxins”out of the circulatory system and thus it is important for the liver to function at its optimal capacity. The herbs in this herbal combination are designed to support the liver in its natural role.

Contents - approximately 60 scoops
Recommended use - 1 scoop a day
One scoop = 1 Tablespoon

The herbs we use to maintain and support a naturally healthy environment in the liver are:

  • burdock, Oregon grape and chamomile for their supportive role to the circulatory system
  • barberry to maintain healthy bile production
  • cascara to keep the digestive process in a healthy state
  • dandelion and parsley as supportive herbs for the kidneys
  • eluthro and rose hips are in this combination for the purpose of overall system maintenance and support. The rest of the herbs are either used as a catalyst, in the case of the licorice root, or are liver supportive specific herbs as in the case of yellow dock and milk thistle.

This product may be beneficial in the maintenance of a healthy liver.
